Choose the type of mobile access
Open a destination in the browser when you intend to use its website. A saved shortcut may provide a convenient way back, but it does not prove that a separate app has been installed. Check the address behind a shortcut before entering account details, particularly when it came from a message rather than a bookmark you made yourself.

Keep the current session clear
Use one active tab for a sensitive account action. Several tabs can show different stages of a login, recovery request or confirmation, making an old message look current. After moving between tabs, check the address and the action on screen before entering information. A fresh page view does not necessarily mean an earlier request has stopped.
Let each request finish before changing connections or restarting the browser. If the page is not responding, note the error and the stage at which it occurred. Do not repeat an action simply because an animation is slow. For an external account decision or an unclear completion state, use the provider’s own support process.
Make the small screen work for you
Check whether the keyboard or a browser control is covering a button before tapping around it. Rotate the phone only when you are not in the middle of submitting a form. Keep text at a size you can read and use the browser’s normal zoom rather than accepting an unexpected prompt to install another tool.
On this website, the menu opens from the three-line button at the top. Longer menus can scroll inside the menu area; closing the menu returns you to the page. The page links lead to information here, while external destination links open a new tab. Read the new address before continuing with a service account.
Manage shortcuts and notifications
Create a bookmark or shortcut only after checking the destination. Remove old shortcuts when their purpose is no longer clear. An icon that looks familiar can still reopen an outdated or unintended address. Do not rely on the icon alone when deciding whether to enter a password.
Read notification requests before allowing them. A notification permission is different from an account requirement, and a message arriving on the phone does not automatically come from the service’s support team. Change permissions through your device or browser settings when you no longer need them. This website does not require push notifications to read its pages.
Move to another device carefully
Keep access to the original email or phone until any replacement has been confirmed by the external provider. Review active sessions where the provider makes that information available, and sign out from devices you no longer control. Closing this website does not sign out of an external account.
